Hailing from Naples, Florida, singer-songwriter Lexi Anand has always had a passion for music. At the age of six, the singer wrote her first song, titled "When I Wake Up." Lexi then turned her focus towards studying piano and joined the local Philharmonic to sing in the youth chorale. At 10, the talented singer became determined to accompany her own lyrics, and began watching instructional guitar videos, diligently learning how to play simple chords.
Evolving her styles, the growing artist has had the privilege of performing solo at venues scattered across Nashville, New York City, and California. The young artist has enthralled audiences at the grand music festival Supergirl Pro in Oceanside, California on the Radio Disney Stage, and has been a regular part of Camp Broadway's Kids Ensemble. Lexi has achieved the feat of performing at some of NYC’s most iconic settings and events such as the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade, The Christmas Spectacular at Radio City Music Hall and The New York Pops Birthday Gala at Carnegie Hall.
A dynamic force, Lexi has written music with distinguished songwriters such as Lil Eddie Serrano, Kathryn Gallagher, and David Rush and has completed a 7 song EP under the direction of the accomplished Christina Chirumbolo. The first single "Summer Love '' was released August 27th and added to a Spotify algorithmic playlist as well as multiple blogs. Her follow up single, “No Labels” gained popularity on Spotify and was streamed in several countries. Honing her musical skills, Lexi has been a part of summer songwriting programs at New York University Steinhardt, SOCAPA NYC, Berklee College of Music along with a marketing class at Columbia University.
Giving back to her roots, Lexi has also partaken in numerous youth choir programs, played solo throughout her community, and is a member of the Creative Group- a youth-led group refining their skills in composition and improvisation with 2 public programs a year. She initiated and now directs a performance group at her high school to bridge the arts with local assisted living facilities. NPAS (Naples Performing Arts Society) now boasts 50 eager students ready to share their talents! She is also actively involved in teaching singing at YAPA Kids, an organization born out of the pandemic aiming to supplement online education.
This past summer, Lexi was selected by the Grammy Museum to participate in Grammy Camp and received mentoring from All Time Low, Andy Grammar, Echosmith and The War and Treaty. She also was selected to perform at The Wellness Experience (Co-founder singer/songwriter Jewel) and then later spotlighted by Summer McKeen becoming a "Keen On" artist. In November 2021, Lexi performed live for New York Songwriters Circle hosted since 1991 by Tina Schafer, a multi-platinum singer/songwriter who has written hits for major recording artists, TV and film.
